Financial Policy and Chiropractic Active Life Plans

We are committed to providing you with the best chiropractic care possible in a caring environment and have established our financial policies to achieve that goal.  You will be expected to pay for your chiropractic care at the time the service is rendered unless you arrange an Active Life Plan in advance.  Active Life Plans include yearly Corrective Adjustment Plans (CAP), monthly CAPs, or Wellness Adjustment plans.  These Active Life Plans are designed to be the most cost effective way to keep you and your family as healthy as possible.  Details of these plans will be discussed with you during your Chiropractic Report.

Health Insurance:

Health Insurance plans may differ.  If we are providers for your insurance plan, and you have chiropractic benefits, we will file the insurance for you.  If you have insurance that covers chiropractic, and we are not a provider for that plan we will give you all the information you need to get reimbursed quickly.  This includes your diagnoses, prognosis, copies of your records, or reports.  We have found it easier for your record keeping and ours if we give you receipts at the end of your first visit, and then once per month after that.  Just send in your receipts with a copy of your claim form, and your insurance company will communicate with you about your insurance reimbursement.

If you are like most of our patients and choose to participate in one of our Active Life Plans, there is a possibility that we may file your insurance for you.  We will discuss this option with you during your Chiropractic Report.

If you acquire insurance for a special situation such as an auto accident or a worker’s compensation injury and choose to utilize that coverage, any Active Life Plan will be placed on temporary “HOLD” status until the Workers Compensation or No-Fault benefits have been exhausted.

You are ultimately responsible for your balance should your insurance company not pay for any portion of your care.

Dr. Daryl Asks some important questions of interest to New York residents - Chiropractor New York Dr. Daryl Asks...

How could a child benefit from chiropractic?
Regardless of our age, each of us in New York encounters physical, chemical and emotional stresses that exceed our ability to handle. For newborns, it could be the trauma encountered at birth. For toddlers it could be from learning to walk or ride a bike. Many of the problems we chiropractors see in adults are the result of neglected traumas from childhood.
What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
